Barbara Crampton Terrorizes Family in New Trailer for DEAD NIGHT

First time director Brad Baruh's indie horror flick DEAD NIGHT created some buzz on the festival circuit last year before promptly dropping off the map. But the film, starring genre legend Barbara Crampton (RE-ANIMATOR, YOU'RE NEXT) and indie horror stalwart AJ Bowen (A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE, THE SIGNAL) is making its way to VOD on July 27th.

Here's the synopsis:

James and his wife Casey load up their two teenage kids and head out to a remote cabin in Oregon for a weekend trip. When James heads into the snowy forest in search of firewood, he encounters an enigmatic woman passed out in the snow. Bringing her back to the cabin for help, the family has no way of knowing that the woman's presence is the catalyst for a series of events that will change their lives forever.

Baruh is making his debut feature here, but he's no newcomer to filmmaking, having worked in roles on films as varying as CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, PHANTASM: RAVAGER and JOHN DIES AT THE END. If this great looking trailer is any indication, he's clearly picked up a trick or two along the way.
